It's been one year, eight months and 9 days since i joined dA, but it's been a lot more since i was watching from the outside..
And i can tell you, it's a lot more fun being part of the community than hesitating to join.. Plus, you get the chance to join events like dA's Birthday!!!!!
So, let's get this started!!
This, my friends, is the first face i have EVER made and i'm still really proud of it.. not because it's the perfect art i can make but becasue i had the gut to try it out even though i had no idea how to work on it! I did it somewhere between late 2009 and early 2010... Completing this one was a great reward!!!!
A lot of time had passed, and the moment i felt i was improving was when i drew Snape but with a full background, something i had never done before...
And then, the second hobbit came out and i couldn't stop drawing hobbit-themed pieces.. Painting a full environment with colors was an immence experience that gave me a little more confidence with color...
After the third season of Sherlock had ended, i was so obsessed, i was seeing Benedict in my sleep quite every night.. Of course a drawing of him was inevitable.. Also that's when smudging his face came into my mind.. I can tell you though that it's not my favourite thing to do.. the drawing looks extremely realistic for my tastes...
I had this screenshot in my ''To be'' folder for months! Painting a FACE with colours was terrifying as a nightmare.. But then one morning i woke up and i heard this voice in my head that told me ''It's time''.. (it was not actually a voice, as you understand... right?)
And finally, dark had been my dreams of late... I wanted to do something different, something thrilling... Drawing Daenerys gave me the opportunity to do that.. It was not planned at all.. it just came out this way..All these strokes made me feel excited!! I had no idea it was even a tecnique, until some comments stated something about cross-hatching...
Oh well, that's quite it...
Happy Birthday dA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going on vacation now... See you soon!!
